Maintaining continuous and reliable water distribution is a critical responsibility in Qatar’s public infrastructure. To enhance real-time monitoring and automated control across pumping stations, our team recently executed a full SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system upgrade.
The project included hardware modernization, PLC programming, advanced networking, and secure communication upgrades — ensuring seamless performance across all remote sites. With remote alarm monitoring, improved data accuracy, and automated process control, authorities can now respond faster to operational demands and emergencies.
Our approach also emphasized maintaining uninterrupted service for end users. We implemented a phased migration plan, performed all installations under strict safety procedures, and executed rigorous FAT/SAT testing.
As Qatar continues to invest in smarter utilities, SCADA upgrades like this are paving the way for increased water security, energy efficiency, and automation-driven operations.
